The process for creating a  “story” includes:

Story Map ~ Describe your plot.
1. Generate your story using a Story Map~  a pre-write tool to describe your plot.

4. Create Your Shadow Puppet


Creating shadow puppets out of black paper, hole punch, skewers, and masking tape.
Shadow Puppet Theater originated in China  more than 2,000 years ago. The shadow plays were used to tell folktale.
Student's will create Shadow Puppets  for characters in their folktale. Then they will use a story board to plan their story. They will retell their story using puppets and props.
